Tuesday, December 1, 2009 , Dr. Hussein A. Bulhan Hargeisa University, Dr. Saeed Ahmed Hassan, Golis University and Mr. Eidarus Sh Adan Somaliland Representative Sweden visited the Swedish National Police Academy in Solna, Sweden. The delegation was received at the Swedish National Police Academy by Superintendent Urban Nordmarker . Supperintendent Urban Normarker informed the delegation about police education conducted in Sweden, and distance education (e-learning).

Superintendent informed also about the mission of the Swedish National Police Academy. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Hassan and Dr Hussein A Bulhan informed about police training conducted at the Golis University and education in criminology, conducted on Legal Department Hargeisa University. Furthermore, the parties compared to police training in Somaliland with Sweden. The parties also discussed ways of cooperation in the future.

Superintendent Nordmarker informed about the European Police College (CEPOL). The delegation from Somaliland Universities was interested to hear about e-learning for Police education. Superintendent Nordmarker raised the cooperation with the European Police College where there is greater possibility of cooperation on police training and distance learning. The meeting ended in a good atmosphere and good spirit. The Swedish National Police Academy gave a present to representatives from the Golis - and Hargeisa University.
