The Somaliland Socities in Europe, SSE, will hold a conference in Uppsala 20-22 March 2009, at the Wiks Slott, Uppsala Sweden.

With the participation of key organisation leaders all over Europe , politicians, officials from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Sweden. The conference will discuss , gender, diasporas role in rebuilding, democracy and good governance. The discussions will focus on the major challenges Somaliland faces today in the field of the development, democracy, good governance and sustainable peace and how the diaspora can participate and contribute to the ongoing process. The

Conference is a joint cooperation between Somaliland Riksförbundet i Sverige (SR) , Studiefrämjandet Uppsala and Somaliland Mission Sweden.
