Somaliland President Dahir Rayale

Hargeisa, 17 March 2009 (Somalilandpress) - Somaliland President Dahir Rayale Kahin met with the President of Djibouti, Ismail Omer Gelleh at the Presidential Palace in Djibouti city.

During the meeting which was described as fruitful by Somaliland President, the two heads of state agreed to take bilateral relationship from a strategic height and long-term perspective and comprehensively advance bilateral constructive and cooperative relations between the two brotherly-nations so as to benefit both sides <

In recent months, Somaliland and Djibouti relationship has dramatically improved with numerous contacts between the two countries. Both nations have agreed to enhance bilateral economic and trade relations based on the principle of mutual benefit. Djibouti plans to import smalls good manufactured in Somaliland such as construction materials, beds and manchester and dairy products.
